What's Trending in Vintage & Antiques — Week of August 10
Goblets tripled. Decanters quadrupled. Rings got noticed. Here's what Tocuro users found this week — and how to spot the same things at home.

People keep pointing Tocuro at the objects they walk past every day — stemware in the cupboard, bottles on the bar cart, rings in the dish by the sink, bowls that never leave the table. Last week, some categories came alive. Here's what people found, and how to spot the same things at home.
Goblets — 3× vs. last week

Found this week: Indiana Glass Whitehall Amber Footed Goblet — Est. $26
Stemware scans tripled this week. Most were amber or avocado mid-century pieces — Indiana Glass, pressed pattern, the kind that stacks in the cupboard and never gets used. The scan hook is almost always the foot: marks and pattern IDs live under there, not on the bowl.
If you've got a mismatched pair above the fridge, they're worth a look.
Decanters — 4× vs. last week

Found this week: Italian Murano-Style Glass Decanter — Est. $288
Bar cart season? Scans came in across styles — Murano-style medallion glass, cranberry cut-to-clear, even a Kluk Kluk pinch bottle that whistles when you pour. Common thread: fitted stopper, pour neck, decorative enough to sit out.
Check the top shelf of the china cabinet or next to the cocktail glasses at any thrift. If it has a stopper and a pour neck, you're in decanter territory.
Rings — up vs. last week

Found this week: Antique Shell Cameo Ring — Est. $38
Jewelry scans jumped this week. Rings specifically: cameos, clusters, statement stones. Shell cameos are the most common find — carved classical profile in cream and warm brown, usually in an ornate gold frame.
The jewelry dish by the sink. A grandmother's box. The "odds" tray at a flea market. Scan the shank and hallmarks on the inside.
Bowls — still a Tocuro staple

Found this week: Annemarie Davidson Enamel Decorative Bowl — Est. $743
The most-scanned category, week after week. Enamel, carnival glass, porcelain, stoneware — they're already on your table, stacked in the cupboard, or sitting empty on the sideboard catching keys. Mid-century enamel pieces often have crackled color and a metal rim. The surprise here is often the maker: what looks like a decorative dish turns out to be worth real money.
